• Glenwood State Bank and Lowry State Bank have begun using .bank as a domain extension. Similar to .com, .net and .org, the bank said in a news release that .bank was created in 2015 by the global banking community to protect customers against cybersecurity threats. Because the new domain extension is reserved exclusively for verified banks, online criminals will be unable to replicate a site using the .bank extension. Beginning this month, the local banks will change their website addresses to www.glenwoodstate.bank and www.lowrystate.bank.
