Concert on courthouse lawn moved indoors
Because of the strong possibility of rain this Thursday, July 19, the Red Willow Arts Coalition's Concert on the Courthouse Lawn will be relocated to the Alexandria Area High School Performing Arts Center.
The free concert features DiamondBack, a central Minnesota band that's been performing for 20 years.
Parking will be in the north lot of the high school and entry will be through Door 20. Doors will open at 6:15 with music at 7 p.m. AAHS respectfully asks to keep all food and drink out of the auditorium.
Made up of Brian Lommel on acoustic guitar and vocals, Logan Mehr on lead guitar and vocals, Doug Field on bass guitar and vocals and JT Petersen on drums, DiamondBack focuses on tight vocal harmonies and musicianship.
They play music from artists such as Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church and Keith Urban, along with a few country classics and a little bit of rock.
Thursday’s concert is the ninth in a series of weekly performances scheduled throughout the summer.
This week's concert is sponsored by West Central Sanitation and Sugar Shack.
