Tuesday, July 31

Suspicious activity, caller reported doorbell, but no one around, it rang again shortly after, no one around again, Basswood Drive.

Burglary, caller reported someone came into her home and stole some items, Miltona.

Suspicious person, caller reported a man was riding his bike back and forth, then left bike in ditch, hiding in trees, man contacted, said he was looking for his friend’s house when he spotted a woodpecker, put bike in woods so no one would steal it.

Personal injury crash, motorcycle crash with power pole.

Suspicious vehicle, comp said vehicle parked for an unknown amount of time on comp’s easement road to the lake, comp is concerned because the back door was left open, driver of vehicle contacted, she was looking for her phone that she left on top of her vehicle.

Animal complaint, caller stated two dogs in the area attacked comp’s dog, Carlos.

Fraud, called was scammed out of her social security number.

Theft, caller reported about five gallons of gas was stolen out of his vehicle.

Suspicious activity, caller reporter a crop-dusting plane was buzzing his brother’s house, doesn’t think they are spraying, but buzzing his house on purpose, dispatch contacted brother, stated he is OK, stated pilot tried running him over last year, does not want to deputy at this time, Carlos.

Animal complaint, caller reported 20-25 small cows on the road, Hoffman.

Wednesday, August 1

Car hit deer, driver hit deer, vehicle sustained front end damage, no injuries, Evansville.

Fraud, comp came into lobby, reported being scammed out of money.

Driving complaint, caller reported construction trucks are driving way too fast by residence, comp tried communicating concerns and drivers were very rude, Garfield.

Fraud, comp reported being scammed out of money, Carlos.

Assist other agency, truck driving erratically all over the road.

Thursday, August 2

Animal complaint, several dogs barking all night.

Animal complaint, cow out of the fence, appears scared from the traffic, Nelson.

Juvenile trouble, caller reported kids were throwing rocks at signs by trail.

Traffic hazard, tire debris in road, Carlos.

Noise complaint, caller reported people are ripping around storage shed on four-wheeler and it’s very loud.

Property damage crash, minor crash in parking lot.

Driving complaint, vehicle swerving all over the road.

Theft, comp wanted to report theft of ATV from July 24.

Trespassing complaint, business has male party that won’t leave, acts strange.

Traffic hazard, caller reported right turn lane is closed and traffic is backed up and congested.

Traffic hazard, caller reported construction company left piles of dirt on the road.

Drug-related activity, caller stated her entire apartment complex smells like marijuana.

Suspicious activity, couple people walking between houses.

Property damage crash, two vehicles, back parking lot, minor crash, no injuries.

Wednesday, August 1

Noise complaint, caller reported a lot of noise coming from business, not sure if it is construction or unloading of a semi, thinks it is too early in the morning, asked about city noise ordinance.

Fire, transformer, power pole fire, 10th Avenue East.

Driving complaint, vehicle all over the road.

Driving complaint, caller stated a 10- or 11-year-old was riding dirt bike, pulling in and out of traffic, gives rides to 2- to 3-year-olds, feels it is not safe.

Theft, caller reported theft of purse.

Driving complaint, truck driving erratically all over the road.

Thursday, August 2

Theft, theft of store inventory, employee has since been fired.

Criminal damage to property, caller reported someone used paint on the back of her vehicle’s window.

Personal injury crash, two vehicles, one vehicle rear-ended, minor injuries, Broadway Street.

Suspicious activity, caller reported two younger kids pulling a small child in a toy car behind their bikes, afraid child would get hurt.

Animal complaint, dog barking.

Diving complaint, several cars and trucks racing around parking lot.
