Wednesday, Sept. 12

Suspicious activity, caller stopped and talked with man sitting in ditch, said he was fine, person checked on, was using phone, staying with mom and sister in camper, didn’t want to wake them.

Property damage crash, vehicle versus skid loader, County Road 14 NE, County Road 105 NE, Miltona.

Public assist, caller wanted to speak to deputy regarding a vehicle that was supposed to be left for them on the side of the road and it not being there, Brandon.

Fire, electrical box on fire by front door, Maple Circle Drive SE, Glenwood.

Motorist assist, deputy noticed stalled vehicle, no one around, note left on vehicle stated help was on the way.

Suspicious activity, caller reporting his neighbor called and said his house and kids were under surveillance, Garfield.

Fire, grass fire, believes to have been caused by cigarette, Caribou Lane SE, County Road 23 SE.

Fire, grass, report of additional fire, arcing power line caused small grass fire, Brush Wolf Road SE, County Road 87 SE.

Driving complaint, vehicle driving well over 100 mph in wrong lane, Kensington.

Personal injury crash, one-vehicle rollover, unknown injuries, assisted State Patrol on scene, Highway 114, Lowry.

Stolen vehicle, caller reported mane took off with jeep that was running in the driveway, man found, arrested for theft and possession of stolen property, County Road 4 SW.

Suspicious vehicle, vehicle parked in driveway for past few days, Osakis.

Suspicious vehicle, car reportedly parked near railroad tracks, occupied by one male, Miltona.

Suspicious vehicle, caller reported vehicle sitting at end of caller’s neighbor’s driveway with dome light on, door open, registered owner contact, stated husband was visiting a friend at that location.

Thursday, Sept. 13

Patrol activity, checked on vehicles parked at Lake Burgen access, parties just finished work, were talking.

Suspicious vehicle, caller reported truck has been spotted a couple of times at caller’s residence, woke up this morning, saw the same vehicle in driveway and man walking around his property, vehicle left, caller got in his vehicle, chased down the truck to get license plate, last saw the truck on County Road 82 heading toward Osakis.

Found property, caller found a computer and paperwork on the road, Crestwood Drive NE.

Firearms incident, caller stated his .20 gauge gun accidentally discharged, hit his neighbor’s camper.

Animal complaint, caller said neighbor has pit bull, doesn’t tie it up, charges at people, charged at daughter earlier, Brandon.

Suspicious activity, report of person on a bike kicking over signs, deputy escorted person back to the signs so he could pick them up.

Theft, caller reported theft of trailer with two riding lawn mowers stolen from the Stowe Lake area. Trailer was recovered in Olivia.

Driving complaint, report of minivan speeding, driving erratically, Evansville.

Animal complaint, two cows in the road, Kensington.

Suspicious vehicle, report of truck on left side of road since Tuesday morning, Kensington.

Public assist, flagged down, juvenile male locked out of house, got him in the house.

Traffic hazard, moving trees off the road.

Wednesday, Sept. 12

Suspicious activity, report of people in alley dumpster diving, 6th Avenue E.

Fraud, caller reported being scammed while trying to buy a puppy.

Property damage crash, caller wanted to report a crash that happened the day before, rear-end crash, 50th Avenue.

Suspicious activity, caller wanted to speak with officer about check he received.

Suspicious vehicle, caller reported pickup truck was driving around the park for awhile, area checked, unable to locate vehicle.

HIt and run, caller reported vehicle hit while inside, no one left a note, Union Street.

Suspicious person, caller stated male checked in, was a little off, called back, male was disgruntled, throwing furniture in front of building.

Property damage crash, officer came upon crash, minor injuries, state report, Dakota Street, Highway 29 S.

Suspicious person, caller reported man was acting weird, laying on the ground.

Suspicious activity, found a suspicious package in front of location, property appeared to be dumped in mailbox.

Suspicious person, report of man walking around area, is either drunk or high.

Suspicious activity, caller reported truck with camper on back sitting on a dead end road, caller believes person is camping there, vehicle checked on, person pulled off the road to work on truck.

Property damage crash, two vehicles, state report, 4th Avenue E.

Suspicious activity, caller reported vehicles keep following her around.

Thursday, Sept. 13

Public assist, disabled man in store, trying to walk to Forada, store requesting police department help, taxi ride was arranged.

Stolen vehicle, caller reported motorcycle was stolen out of garage, vehicle was recovered.

Suspicious vehicle, caller reported motorcycle laying in the ditch, Rosewood Lane.

Suspicious activity, caller reported foreclosed property is supposed to be getting cleaned up and no one should be there, caller checked on property, stated there is a dog inside kind of going nuts.

Property damage crash, minor crash, no injuries, County Road 82 NW, Karl Drive NW.

Property damage crash, two vehicles, minor crash, parties exchanged information, Jefferson Street.

Suspicious activity, caller reported seeing a vehicle driving around cul de sac, driver going slow, person in back of vehicle had window down with a telephoto lens, taking pictures of houses and yards, when they saw caller, person rolled up window and they left area quickly, Sara Avenue.

Driving complaint, caller was behind vehicle that didn’t move over for police car going to a call, caller thought young female driver should be spoken to about the law and moving over.

Animal complaint, caller reported injured deer, 34th Avenue E., Pioneer Road SE.

Animal complaint, report of deer caught in a fence, Pioneer Road SE.

Property damage crash, one vehicle, Karl Drive NW.

Stolen vehicle, theft of moped reported, Northside Drive NE.

Suspicious activity, caller reported two men in vehicle were following her and her girls around store, then followed her when she left, stated something wasn’t right about the way they were looking at her, no plate of vehicle given, caller was given tips on what to do if it happens again.

Suspicious activity, caller at business stated female who has history of grabbing merchandise and running out the door is at there again.

Driving complaint, report of vehicle driving way too fast through the park.

Drug related activity, report of people smoking marijuana, smell is coming into his apartment.
